It was designed as a Preschool / 4K curriculum that could be implemented in either a virtual or physical setting. While a total virtual setting is not optimal for preschool children, the resources can be used as movement activities, to increase student engagement, or at home activities that support the classroom curriculum.
The curriculum is split up into four themes: Colors and Counting, Lights and Letters, Shapes and Sorting, and Rhyming and Patterns. The curriculum is organized by Multimedia Routine, Books, Group Time, and Movement Activities. The website focuses on the Multimedia Routines and Group Work.
The Multimedia Routines are curriculum focused, movement based, and participatory videos designed to get students ready for large group. As a routine they are designed to be used daily for over a month or more. Generally, students look forward to the experience and it signifies the beginning of large group.
Group Time is typically Power Points or slide shows designed to be fun, interactive and participatory.
