Jumping Bunny

Go Noodle has a fun movement song called Jump Like a Bunny. A group of three- and four-year-old really enjoyed the movement activity. I decided to incorporate the video into an alphabet recognition Power Point I was working on.

Jumping Bunny is an interactive slideshow in student students call out the letter as its displayed-on screen. Every few slides a jumping bunny will be displayed which is the students signal to stand up for a movement break. Students get active and move around with the Jump Like a Bunny video. The video is short and then the students get to calling out the letter on screen.

There are two ways you can play Jumping Bunny depending on your goals. You can have the letters called appear either individually or as a group. If individually, it will be the student whose turn it is when the jumping bunny slide appears to tell other students to stand up.
